Just a little housekeeping note:

During the spring and summer months, pop-up storms and rain are pretty common. I always keep a close eye on the forecast and do my best to make the right call when it comes to rescheduling sessions due to weather.

When we do need to reschedule, I try to coordinate with everyone’s availability as quickly and smoothly as possible. I use a booking site to help keep things streamlined and organized, but if your session has been rescheduled due to weather, please be sure to message me before your new date to confirm your session time.

I never want to double book or accidentally miss anyone, so if you haven’t heard from me leading up to your session—please reach out!

Engagement sessions in April are supposed to bring flowers… not snow flurries and blizzard-like winds! ❄️😂

We knew it would be cold, but none of us expected a full-on snowstorm during their session! Still, this sweet couple braved the wild weather like champs for their engagement session, and I’m so glad they did—because WOW. The snow, the wind, the way they held onto each other through it all… it made for some truly magical moments.

Can’t wait to capture their wedding day - hopefully with a little less wind, but just as much love. 🖤💍

There’s a hidden gem in the mountains that comes alive only for a short time each year — and it's breathtaking. 🌸 Nestled in a stunning landscape, this location is only accessible during the summer months, with the most magical purple blooms peaking in July.

Whether you’re dreaming of a romantic couple's session, timeless family portraits, or solo shots that radiate beauty and peace, this spot is the perfect backdrop. Think wind-swept hair, glowing golden hour light, and florals that look like a painting.

This particular spot opens at the end of May, and I have LIMITED for several FULL sessions. This spot requires a decent amount of travel time (about an hour and a half from Hickory, NC)

My first wedding of the 2025 season is tomorrow, and I can hardly contain my excitement.

Every single year, God sends me the greatest couples who are an absolute joy to work with. I feel so honored to be able to capture one of the most important days of their lives.

Yes, I cry at every wedding even if I've never met the couple 🙈😭🥹 just look away if you see me a mess lol.

Also, if you happen to see me running around like a crazy person at a wedding this season and I don't recognize you, please stop me when I have a minute and talk to me and introduce yourself. I promise you that I can remember a face SO much more than a name. I probably recognize you too from online and just don't know your name to say hi first😅
