As summer kicks into full swing, The Iron House is adjusting our hours to make the most of the season while continuing to bring the community together!

📅 Saturday: 4 PM – 10 PM
❌ Closed Sundays

🎉 Special Monday Hours:
We’ll be open Mondays from 5 PM – 7 PM during Hibbing on Howard! Stop by before, during, or after the festivities to throw some axes, enjoy the atmosphere, and celebrate summer with the community.

Downtown is getting busy this Summer 🏀

🏀 BIG NEWS, HIBBING!!

The Hibbing Area Chamber of Commerce and Hibbing Schools is thrilled to officially announce the return of one of Hibbing’s most beloved community events — Hoops on Howard is BACK for the 2026 Hibbing Jubilee!

After years away, downtown basketball is returning to the streets of Hibbing during Jubilee Sidewalk Sales on Friday, July 10, 2026, and we could not be more excited to bring this incredible tradition back to our community.

For so many people, Hoops on Howard was more than just a tournament. It was a summer tradition that brought Downtown Hibbing to life with competition, excitement, hometown pride, and unforgettable memories. Families lined the streets, businesses filled with visitors, fans cheered from the sidewalks, and players of all ages came together for a day that truly captured the spirit of Hibbing.

Now, that energy is coming back!
The return of Hoops on Howard is a celebration of community, tradition, and the pride we all share in our hometown. We are excited to once again see the courts fill Downtown Hibbing with players, fans, laughter, and the incredible atmosphere that made this event such a favorite for so many years.

Edit to add this fine group of teens is with Youth in Action!!

What an incredible way to celebrate an incredible group of young people! 🎉

We had the privilege of hosting the Youth In Action Program from Hibbing High School for their end-of-year celebration at The Iron House, and the impact these students made this year deserves to be recognized.

Between the 12 students who attended, they contributed an amazing 505 service hours to our community. That’s 505 hours of helping others, showing up, making a difference, and investing in the place we all call home.

The future is bright when young people are willing to serve, lead, and give back the way this group has. We’re proud to celebrate their hard work and grateful for everything they’ve done for our community.

A special shout out to Kayla Hintz and Dana Grozdanich for organizing, guiding, and supporting this program. Opportunities like this help shape future leaders and create lasting impact.
