I’m sure some if not all have heard that Southern Grace has been sold! It is under contract. I’m not sure if the new owners will be offering it as a venue but do know that it will be used for their private home. I have enjoyed my time there and have met so many new friends that feel like family now. I want to say Thank you to all of you who visited us and made our time there so great. I plan to spend a lot more time with my family and friends!

With Covid-19 disrupting everyone’s way of life, we still as a County, have obligations. As we all know, this is the year that we are obligated to fill out our census forms. You should’ve already received these forms in the mail. You may complete the paper form and mail back, or you can complete online or over the phone. Currently, we are at 44.3% self participation. The National Average is 46.2%. As your County Judge Executive, I cannot express enough how important this is to our county. With over $650 billion dollars of Federal Funds to be distributed across the United States, funds to help educate our children, help fund our state and local government projects, it is EXTREMELY important that every resident of Monroe County is accounted for, so please do your part and complete your census forms!

Hello Everyone! I wanted to let you know I am the proud Nana of a new grandson, Kellen Rush Emmert! Unfortunately Kellen has a little problem and was transported to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville on Sunday. We will not know a lot until some test come back ( hopefully in a day or two) ! If your trying to reach me for anything I ask that you please be patient and I will try to get back with you as soon as I can. And more importantly than anything else I ask that you remember this sweet precious boy in your prayers
