Unfortunately, we have had to cancel our Easter Event for tomorrow, April 18, 2025 due to the inclement weather and freeze conditions. We plan to make it up to all our families by announcing a fun kids summer event when it is much warmer.... stay tuned!

Looking for a fun Easter activity in Durango, CO?🐰

Ridgewood Event Center is hosting a special Easter event for kids of all ages on Saturday, April 19th from 11am- 2pm. We will have Egg hunts for all ages, face painting, yummy treats, tacos, magic and photos. To top it all off, the Easter Bunny will be stopping by to say "Hello" and to take some photos with the kiddos!

Why should my wedding have a cocktail hour??

Cocktail hours are a popular transition activity between the ceremony and reception at a wedding. So why should you have one..?

1. A cocktail hour gives the guests something to do while the bridal party is having their photos taken.
2. They allow a social hour before the structure of the wedding continues- helps your guests stay on your timeline.
3. They overall generate excitement into the reception.
4. It allows the vendors to complete any last minute set-up before the dinner begins (lighting candles, reusing decor from ceremony, etc.)
