While we don’t manage the technical side of production, we act as a vital bridge between the artist and the client when it comes to hospitality riders. For national shows, we review the rider before sending a contract, striking out ordinary or excessive requests to minimize client costs. We then coordinate with the client and their partners to ensure the agreed-upon details are handled during advancement.

Our main piece of advice? Provide a clean, furnished green room thoughtfully stocked with the items outlined in the rider. Small, intentional touches of hospitality go a long way for artists arriving tired from travel, ensuring a positive experience before the curtains even open.

Planning an outdoor event involves a lot of moving pieces, and a close eye on the sky. Because inclement weather typically isn’t covered under standard force majeure clauses, managing risk starts long before the stage is built.

Here is how we actively protect both our clients and artists when heading outdoors:

1. Contractual Safeguards: We build clarity into the contract from the beginning, aligning the verbiage with your vision for rain dates, rescheduling, or cancellation policies.

2. Scalable Backup Plans: For smaller events and acts, we work to establish a viable secondary plan ahead of time.

3. On-Site Advocacy: If unexpected weather hits during the event, we handle the tough logistics. We can step in as the direct liaison between authorities, the client, and the artist to safely manage the situation.

Ultimately, our goal is to plan for every scenario and minimize the impact on everyone involved if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
