Baby Shower for Kayla and Cole Since we’re not all located near each other I thought we could use this as a way to communicate.

This is just to kind of finalize everything. It looks like we’ll have around 100 people. We can get into the hall at noon on Sunday. Set up shouldn’t take long. I’m planning on wearing something comfy while we decorate then changing into my shower clothes.

Jennifer: Cake and taco salad
Shelly: cheese/sausage/cracker tray, meatballs, water
Robin: our surprise for Kayla (ps, still need a pic)
Scott: shredded pork
Me, mom, and Traci: shredded chicken, Mac n cheese, potato salad, veggie pizza, fruit, pinwheels.

Drinks— sweet/unsweet tea, lemonade, and water

I have the event page done. I added the people on my friends list. From there you can add people that I’m not FB friends with. I mailed the Invitations out yesterday. If I’ve forgotten anyone just send me their address and I’ll mail them one.

I’m planning on sending invitations out around the first week of December so I’ll be needing addresses. If you have them written down and can make a copy and get it to either Kayla or Cole I can get it from them next week.

Here’s the backdrop stand with the tapestry. I’ll buy white fabric or some type of filler for the sides and bottom. It also adjusts so we can make it as tall or wide as we want. On the sides will be balloon pillars.

I have three games planned, one will take a bit more time to do. In addition we have mommy/daddy advice cards and baby prediction cards for people to fill out and they’re wanting for people to bring their favorite easy for new mommy/daddy recipes. I bought them a recipe box and extra blank cards and figured I’d include a couple in every invitation. Does this seem like plenty or do you all think we need to add another game?

A little update. We’re going to switch out the baked potato bar for potato salad. Decoration wise we should be set. Planning on 16 round tables and four rectangle. The rectangle are for food, drinks, desserts, and one for gifts. Speaking of drinks does anyone have beverage dispensers we could use?

I don’t need an exact number of how many are going to be invited, but if we can come up with an estimate so we get an idea of how many tables and such we’ll need that’d be great. From my side I’m guessing around 20.

The plan is to have a little area for the kiddos to have fun. We bought one of these and are going to bring a tv and play scooby cartoons. I also got some scooby gummies and crackers and will get some little juice boxes. Then maybe something like scooby coloring pages, bubbles, etc.

Probably won’t need weenies, meatballs, and baked beans, so maybe just one or two of those choices.
Veggies and fruit I’ll probably bring up with me.
Taco salad I’ve never made so anyone has and wants to that’s be great. Otherwise I can try it.
Anything you want to add or subtract they both seem pretty open to anything and just thankful for the love.
