Another Handy Festival in the Books!

As another incredible Handy Festival wraps up, our official festival trailers have been safely tucked away in storage until next year.

We are deeply grateful for the continued support of generous individuals like Michael, Robert, Cody, and Collin Royster, who steps up year after year to help with trailer storage. It’s community-minded folks like them and so many others who make the Handy Festival such a success behind the scenes.

Thank you, the Royster’s and thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s festival truly unforgettable!

We are starting to plan for 2026- you won’t want to miss it as it’s our 35th Anniversary!

Better late than never... These are images from the final day of the 2025 W. C. Handy Blues Festival. Other than a downpour that caused one act's showed to be cut early it was a wonderful day. Featured artists on Saturday were Doug Macleod, The Michael Gough Group, Dylan Triplett, Curtis Salgado, Ana Popovic, and Larkin Poe. I was able to photograph every act at this year's event. It was a blast doing so. Mark your calendars for June 17-20, 2026, when we will be bringing you the next W. C. Handy Blues Festival. We hope to see you there! (Photos by Chuck Summers)

The Handy Festival will continue after 30 minutes from the last lightning strike has passed. We hope to have both Ana Popovic and the Fantastafunk as well as Larkin Poe both perform!

We will give updates when that time happens!
