When I photograph the artists at the W. C. Handy Blues Festival each year I always rush home each night to work on some of my pictures so that I can post them on the site. In rushing to do so I often overlook pictures I really like. For that reason tonight I'm going to post two sets of images from this year's festival that will include pictures I did not post last week. I hope you enjoy these two "Looking Back" volumes. The 2026 W. C. Handy Blues & Barbecue Festival is officially a wrap. It was a great week with lots of wonderful talent to enjoy and good weather to boot. Here you will find some sample images of today's performances by Blues 4 U, McKinley James, Eric Johanson, The Cold Stares, Shemekia Copeland, and The Record Company. I have many other images from this year's festival that I'll share with you in the coming day but Reverend Chuck who does not have a big or small damn band needs to call it a night.
