Thank you all for attending our 2nd Annual July 4th Celebration!

We are so grateful for everyone who joined us to celebrate freedom, community, and the good ole USA.

A special thank you to our incredible food trucks for serving up delicious food and sweet treats — you kept us full and happy!

To Bragging Rooster Beer and Mead — thank you for being a part of our celebration and serving up your fantastic brews.

To our amazing volunteer fire departments: thank you for your help at the gate, with parking, and ensuring a safe fireworks display. We appreciate the countless hours you give to support this event and our community year-round.

To the Vance County Sheriff’s deputies: thank you for your presence, for keeping us safe during the celebration, and for helping traffic flow smoothly. Your daily service to our community does not go unnoticed.

Thank you to our sponsors — your generosity helped make this event possible, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

A huge shoutout to those who brought the bouncy houses, slides, obstacle course, and mechanical bull — the fun and laughter you brought to kids (and adults!) helped make the celebration unforgettable.

To our family and friends who worked hard behind the scenes — both leading up to the event and on the big day — we couldn’t have done it without you.

And finally, thank you to everyone who came from near and far to celebrate with us. Although the rain cut our event a little short, we’re thankful for the time we had together.

Our July 4th Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 5th, beginning at 4:00 PM.

Come hungry, as we have arranged a fantastic lineup of food trucks for you.

Bragging Rooster Beer & Mead will also be on site.

Please refrain from bringing coolers or tents.
We will have coolers of water available.

Feel free to bring your lounge chairs and get comfortable.

The gate will close no later than 8:30 PM to allow everyone time to get to their designated spots for the fireworks.

We're just days away from our big July 4th celebration! To help keep everyone safe while we enjoy the fun, several Vance County deputies will be on-site. Their presence ensures a safe and secure environment for all of our family and friends. We appreciate their service to our community

There will be two exits available at the end of the event, and our sheriff’s deputies will be assisting with traffic flow to help everyone head home quickly and safely.

We truly appreciate their service to our community and their help in making this a safe and enjoyable celebration for all!

Vendor Alert: All Spots Are Booked!

We’re excited to announce that all vendor spots for our 2nd Annual July 4th Celebration (happening Saturday, July 5th) are officially BOOKED! 🎉

Unfortunately, we’ve been made aware that imposters (see 1st comment) are reaching out to vendors using our flyer, attempting to book additional spots and even charging a fee. Please know:

This is a community event. There is a $10 per vehicle fee as you enter the gate on Saturday. No payments made online.

We do not charge vendor fees for helping to service our guests!

If someone contacts you claiming otherwise—it’s a scam.

To those pretending to be helpful while actually trying to profit off a community celebration… if only that energy went into something positive, we’d all be in better shape. 😒

We’re grateful to all the vendors who are helping us treat our guests and make this a celebration to remember. We can’t wait to see everyone on Saturday, July 5th.

We’re looking for a food truck that can serve hamburgers and hot dogs at our July 4th celebration This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-attended community event!

Menu focus: Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks, etc.

A Salute to Some of Our Hometown Heroes

As we gather at our Independence Day celebration with food, fun, music, and fireworks, we want to take a moment to recognize the real heroes working behind the scenes—our local volunteer fire departments.

Please join us in thanking the brave men and women from Bearpond Bvfd, Cokesbury Vol FD and Watkins Volunteer Fire Dept., who have stepped up to help make this event safe and successful. These dedicated volunteers give their time, energy, and heart to protect and serve our community—not just today, but every day.

It truly takes a village to make a celebration like this possible, and we are proud to have these departments as part of ours. Let’s give them a big round of applause for their service and commitment!
