Cohesion Dance Project

Cohesion Dance Project Enriching, inspiring and uniting Helena through dance! cohesiondance.org / cohesiondanceproject@gmail

Throughout the year, CDP stages three community based dance performances and offers cost effective learning opportunities through integrated technique classes, community summer workshops, and adaptive dance classes for people with disabilities and special needs. Dancers and non-dancers of all ages and abilities explore movement within their own unique body structure, exercise their creative spirit

through movement composition and choreography, and reach outside their comfort zones by working with others in an environment of partnership, mentorship, and collaboration. This page is dedicated to providing information about the events and happenings of Cohesion Dance Project and the performances it presents.

Experience the power of repetition—reimagined.
Cohesion Dance Project presents Recollections, an original evening-length performance by 2026 Spring Artist-in-Residence Nina Murphy.

Inspired by nature, daily rhythms, and the philosophy of Søren Kierkegaard, Recollections explores repetition and recollection as movements through time—what we relive and what we remember. What emerges is anything but ordinary: repetition becomes transformation, renewal, and possibility.

Featuring over 40 dancers from Cohesion and the Helena community, this dynamic performance is not to be missed.
