I got this very touching note and $5 in the cash box at the Little-Food-Pantry-That-Could attached to West Side Blooms this morning. I just love humans! We are still, and for the foreseeable future, accepting cash donations, or any food that perhaps a kid could throw in the microwave when his parents are still working. (Think Ramen, Mac n Cheese, pasta and sauce, cereals). Also personal hygiene products like hand soap, shampoo, and female personal products,and laundry and dish soap. Toilet paper is an item that goes really fast. Any and all baby related stuff except clothes. We’re not really set up for clothing donations. I’ve also attached my Venmo QR code if you’d like me to do the shopping for you. Any and all donations are gratefully accepted. Many people need the help right now and a little goes a long way. Thank you for considering a donation.

We have to know- what is a flower that reminds you of someone? We have a lot of favorites here at West Side Blooms- but Sweet Peas remind us of my grandma, and Nancy’s mom. The smell is incredible. The dainty blooms are delightful. We can’t help but feel close to grandma Beth when we are around them!

We will have scissors for you to use, but bring your own vessel or you can purchase a vase for $4.00
