This annual event by National Sisterhood United for Journeymen Linemen is coming back to City View Park next weekend! It not only draws in people from all over the country, but it also supports a VERY good cause.

The daily work lineman do to keep electricity running through the poles is very dangerous. Men have literally lost their lives and sadly left their families behind. This event helps remember the lineman that passed, and offers ongoing support to their families.

This once-a-year event has a feeling of togetherness, brings fun challenges like rodeo competitions, has great food and vendors, and will leave you with solid memories that you'll feel good about.

For those of you that enjoy theatre... This incredible show is happening THIS weekend at the Pennsylvania Theatre of Performing Arts . ๐ŸŽญ

PTPA presents THE ELEPHANT MAN opens next Friday, June 12th, and runs for ONE WEEKEND ONLY until Sunday, June 14th - you will not want to miss the intimate and emotional true story of John Merrick, a man who was born horribly deformed and had to survive as a side-show attraction until he was taken in at the London Hospital, where his intelligence and humanity were able to shine through as he discovered and taught others what it truly means to be human.

PTPA veteran Tim Solarek portrays Merrick with no make-up or prosthetics, as the play calls for a demanding physical and emotional performance that is a challenge for any performer - you do not want to miss his herculean efforts with an extremely talented cast and crew helmed by PTPA Artistic Director Adam Randis - tickets are on sale now and floor seating around the thrust stage is limited, so reserve today at www.ptpashows.org

Also don't forget that tonight starting at 7pm the PTPA is taking part in NEPA GIVES 2026! Your donations help us to be able to maintain our facilities, provide theatre education and opportunities on stage and off to community members of all ages and ability levels, and produce entertaining and challenging productions rarely seen in our area, like THE ELEPHANT MAN - go to https://www.nepagives.org/organization/Pennsylvania-Theatre-Of-Performing-Arts between 7pm tonight and 7pm tomorrow evening to help us reach our goal!

The Elephant Man is presented by the PTPA through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
