While Pride Month is certainly a time to share who you are today as loudy and proudly as you are comfortable sharing, it's more than that.
Pride Month is a time to reflect on the pioneers, activists, teachers, mentors, warriors, artists, protesters, nurturers, caregivers and more whose lives, labor and bravery paved the way for us to be who we are. It's a month to reflect on the ways who we are today fit into a broader story about how we got here.
Pride Month is also a time to dream a q***r future. It's a time to imagine what could be next -- what should be next -- for all of our q***r identities and communities.
It's a time to dream something bigger, bolder, more empathetic, more inclusive, more joyful, more q***r for those who share our kind of q***rness. It's a time to imagine bold solidarities with every other kind of q***r, too.
Celebrate what's then, now, and next for yourself, and for all the q***r people around you.
