There’s ants on the peonies!
Did you know that ants and a peony have a symbiotic relationship? The peony buds have a sweet nectar that the ants love to eat, and the ants protect the peony buds from other bugs and nasty things we don’t want around them. The ants don’t harm the flowers at all, so we let them stay and protect our flowers from aphids 💐

Oh my goodness where did the winter go?!? It’s almost market season again!!! Next Saturday April 5th you can find us at the Murphy Farmers Market for another market season!!! We should have plenty of bread, jam/jelly, and hopefully some fresh eggs! I can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces out there to support local farmers/vendors/crafters!
