Hey y’all 👋 It’s been a while!

I’m finally back in the studio and painting again. 🎨💕 I doodled this little idea on a canvas and decided to just go for it and paint it yesterday. And honestly, it felt SO good to create again.

If you’re new here, hi! My name is Chrystal, but you can call me Chrissy that's a nickname my husband calls me lol 😆 I am married for about 21 years now, that's like 2 decades y'all wow. I have 3 boys. Two boys are in college age and one is still in highschool. I also have two girl dogs Bella & Kona. I have always liked to paint, creating, and learning new things through art. Lately, I have felt this little pull to get back into the painting world. I’m not exactly sure what that looks like yet or where this creative journey is going to take me and I think I am okay with that. I just know it was time to pick up the paintbrush again. 💕

So, I thought…why not bring y’all along with me?

I want this little corner to be a place where I can share what I am painting, things I am learning, ideas I am dreaming up, and probably a few messy creative moments along the way. Maybe it will turn into something bigger, maybe it will simply be a place where I get to create and connect with others. Either way, I am excited to see where it goes.

One thing I do know is that I don’t want to stop creating. Art has always been something I love, and I am ready to find my way back to it. 🎨

Anywho…that’s my little check-in for today. 💕 And maybe a reminder for you too:

You don’t always have to do things perfectly. Sometimes you just have to keep doing what you love until it starts to make sense.

Not sure if that’s profound 😂, but it’s something that helps me get through the hard days.

Here’s to creating again, figuring things out as we go, and seeing where this little adventure takes us. 🩷🎨

Spring… if you’re listening, this is your sign 🌷
I’m over here painting my way into brighter days because winter has officially overstayed its welcome.

Pink skies, fresh florals, and happy little pops of color...this piece is my way of saying spring, hurry up and get here already!

There’s something about spring that just brings new energy, fresh starts, and creativity back to life, so I’ve been busy painting up some new spring designs to welcome it in.

If we can’t change the season, we can at least paint like it’s already here 💕✨
