Lots of people want to take pictures here at the Columns. Of course when you have an event here the photo ops are endless. But we do allow pictures to be taken without your having an event. We have had photo sessions for many people from Homecoming to Prom to Wedding pictures or those of children and family. We even had a Gospel group take pictures for a Christmas album. We appreciate your wanting to use the Columns for your photos since it is picturesque. Upkeep of the Columns is expensive so we charge a small fee of $25.00 for taking pictures outside or if you come inside we charge $50.00. For more expansive photo sessions we charge $100. Recently we have had some people come and take pictures without our permission. Please call us and we will make an appointment for you and do what we can to assist you. We also have lots of props if you want to use them. Thanks for understanding our policy and thanks for allowing us to have a part of Hawkinsville photo history.

A little boo is almost due baby shower was held today Saturday October 18th for Heather Johnston-Pickana at the Columns of Georgia. Everyone enjoyed the catered breakfast and the wonderful decorations.. Heather received a lot of needed items for her bundle of joy expected in November.

Yesterday Saturday April 26th Kelly McGalliard and Donna Doherty Wall hosted a bridal shower for Jonnna McGalliard here at the Columns of Georgia. Such a great turnout and so many wonderful and useful gifts. The Columns was priveleged to be able to provide a wonderful setting for this gathering. Congrats to Joanna on her upcoming nuptials.

Last night the Columns of Georgia was priveleged to host the rehearsal dinner for Gracie Johnson and Jack Kelly who will be tying the knot today at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Hawkinsville. What a great couple with wonderful families and great friends. Such an exciting event. The evening was perfect with a beautiful setting great food catered by Chris Dollar and Harris Kuntry Meats & Grocery . Everyone had a wonderful time. Congratulations to this lovey couple Gracie and Jack may today be the start of a life that is full of exciting adventures and wonderful times as the say their vows to always love each other before the Lord.
