I’ve been a little crazed! We have headshots for dance this week and I just got done with a Harry Potter birthday. In true busy me fashion, I forgot to take very many photos....I’m working on getting inventory updated for all those newly engaged couples out there!

Behind the scenes number 2! I typically try and trace out what I need to paint/color. My projector is a cheaper one (paid less than $30) so I can’t always get a very clear picture but getting outlines at least traced on takes a lot of stress off and saves some time.

Here are some behind the scenes action! Today I am trying to get a few mock ups done at home and pictures taken. My hope was to do photos and send them off then pick a few favorites to set up so at the studio for those with the final say to check out. They are for the upcoming Gala fundraiser. Little man decided it was time for a nap and when you work from home, you take breaks to help little ones take naps.
Things may take longer than I’d like but we learn to roll with it.

Saw this collection and couldn’t help thinking of the connection brides have with their bridal party.
Often times brides ask for ideas to gift their bridesmaids. They want the gifts to be meaningful but also useful and I’ve always loved the idea of gifting them jewelry to wear at the ceremony. This collection would look great with any dress and has so much meaning in showing how connected the bride is to her bridesmaids.
It could even be given to the mothers to show two families connecting to create a third and all the while being connected.

I’m lucky enough to be a part of the Origami Owl family. It allows me to earn a little extra when life doesn’t allow for events. I’ve always loved the customization and how it’s helped so make something special, and now they have a special Bridal Collection coming out this fall!!!
