As I’ve been updating our social media, I’ve had the joy of reliving so many wonderful memories with our Naastad Acres “family.” There have been plenty of smiles, happy tears, and an overwhelming feeling of gratitude.

One of the biggest wedding planning mistakes? Choosing your venue based on how it looks in a photo.

We get it. ❤️

You see a beautiful venue online and immediately start imagining your wedding there.

But before you book, ask yourself a different question:

"How will this venue make us FEEL on our wedding day?"

Will there be places to escape the chaos for a few minutes?

Will your guests be comfortable?

Can everyone easily move from one part of the celebration to another?

Is there a backup plan if the weather doesn't cooperate?

Will the layout encourage your guests to actually spend time together?

And most importantly...

Will you be able to relax and enjoy your own wedding?

Beautiful photos are important.

Anna & Ryan Muise — July 2017 ❤️

As I’ve been updating our advertising pages, I’ve found myself going back through the years and reliving so many beautiful memories here at Naastad Acres.

I honestly wasn’t prepared for all the emotions that would come with it. There have been tears of joy, smiles that make my face hurt, and so many moments that bring me right back to why we started this dream in the first place.

Anna and Ryan, July 2017. ❤️ Another beautiful chapter in the story of this little farm.

Looking back at their wedding reminds me that Naastad Acres has never just been about the barn, the grounds, or the weddings. It has always been about the people. The couples and families who trusted us with one of the biggest days of their lives and, in doing so, became part of our story too.

What started as a dream for our farm became something far greater than I ever imagined. Every wedding left behind a memory, a story, a laugh, a hug—and a little piece of love that still lives here.

Anna & Ryan, thank you for sharing your beautiful day with us and for being part of our dream. July 2017 feels like yesterday. ❤️

As we head into September, this beautiful photo of Lexi and Jake felt like the perfect one to highlight. 🤍 They celebrated their wedding at Naastad Acres on September 10, 2022, and looking back through their photos has brought back so many wonderful memories of their weekend.

One of the unexpected joys of revisiting all these weddings is remembering the laughter, the love and the beautiful families who have become part of our story. Happy almost four-year anniversary, Lexi and Jake! No matter how far away life takes you, you will always be part of the Naastad Acres family. 🤍

I have had so much fun catching up with our Naastad Acres family lately. Reconnecting with our couples, seeing where life has taken them, and watching their families grow has been such a blessing.
