Summer on a plate 🍅

On my way to work this morning, as I sat at the light on Old Hwy 11 & Hwy 24 where the lady has the fruit stand, those tomatoes were calling 📞 my name!

A good tomato sandwich always takes me back to my childhood Summer breaks & this one didn't disappoint! 😋

Now I'm not selling tomatoes but if you stop over there, swing by here & pick up a take & bake meal. Then you can put a few slices on the side of your dinner with some salt & pepper. 😉

This week looked a little different...
Not every week is filled with events, meal boxes, and pretty food photos.

This week consisted of:

✔️ Catching up on catering quotes and proposals while eating lunch at my desk that I randomly prepared.

✔️ Deep cleaning the kitchen

✔️ Scrubbing the stove (a task I've been putting off 😒)

✔️ Scrubbing & Mopping floors

✔️ Handling unexpected building maintenance issues 🤦🏾‍♀️

✔️ Creating charcuterie orders😍

✔️ And yes...my SUV is STILL loaded from last weekend's event 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

Friday I treated myself to lunch from TwilliePhilly 😋

I ended the day with some much needed time to catch up with some friends. 💜🍸

Running a catering business isn't always glamorous.

There are plenty of days spent cleaning, organizing, maintaining equipment, answering emails, building quotes, and preparing for what's next.

The behind-the-scenes work may not be exciting, but it's what keeps everything moving forward.💜
