A Weekend to Remember: Great Gatsby-Themed Hospitality Room for 184 ESC

This weekend at the Sheraton Flowood Refuge Hotel, it was an incredible honor to serve as the visionary behind a Great Gatsby-themed hospitality room for the officers of the 184 ESC. The event brought together elegance, camaraderie, and celebration in true 1920s style.

Gratitude goes to for the opportunity to collaborate and to the dedicated enlisted soldiers who helped transform two unforgettable nights into a stunning success.

Hearing from the General and Colonel of the 184 ESC that the event was a job well done—and being invited to return next time—was truly humbling. Feeling deeply thankful and overjoyed for the chance to contribute, to serve, and to celebrate alongside such remarkable individuals.

It was such an honor to attend the Pine Burr Area Council's Whitney M. Young Award Dinner. An awesome moment to see so many people in the building honoring and supporting this annual event. Hattiesburg Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award Dinner is an annual Scouting America event honoring unsung heroes who expand Scouting opportunities for youth in underserved communities. This year’s recipients were Dr. Robert Williams and Willie Sims.

The purpose of this meaningful evening is to raise support for Scoutreach and to recognize those committed to ensuring that all youth—regardless of background—have access to the life-changing experiences Scouting provides.

We had our first wedding of the year this weekend and it was absolutely amazing. The bride and groom, the wedding party, the floral decor, bridal party bouquets, coordinating, all of the vendors, the guest, and happiness made it all EPIC.
