Meet Isaac — the guy who’ll drop everything to make your wedding PERFECT!!!

Friday, in the middle of a busy kitchen shift, Isaac noticed something: the groom’s brand-new wedding gift — a watch from the bride — didn’t fit.

He’s never sized a watch, shoot Isaac doesn’t even wear a watch. But that didn’t stop him.

First, he called anyone that may have access to this tool, Then he hit multiple stores looking for the right tool. Finally, he found a local jeweler who agreed to size it on the spot.

And somehow… he still crushed all his kitchen duties and was a massive part in making this event run flawlessly and fun from everyone.

Why go through all that for “just a watch”? Because Isaac saw it was important to the couple — and he refused to let the moment pass without making everything perfect!

That’s the kind of hearts we have at Venue 1230. Today is his 23rd birthday, I couldn’t be prouder to work alongside him. Happy Birthday, Isaac! 🎉

This is obviously a pic of him as a young boy……but he basically looks the same now at age 23🤣. Proud of you brother. I’m excited to WATCH you excel in life! (Pun intended…giggity)

Meet Ari and Tate! They traveled from 4 hours away to celebrate their wedding At Venue 1230. What an amazing couple. At the end of the night I noticed Ari was not leaving the dance floor… like at all. She was dancing but would often stop and looking around and seemed almost somber. When I talked with one of the bridesmaids to check in and make sure she was doing alright, they said, “ Ari is just trying to soak up every…..last…..moment” it was the sweetest thing to see from afar. We work relentlessly to make every single couples vision a reality so when I saw this, my heart melted with joy. Yes, weddings can be difficult to plan, yes they are expensive, and yes…….. it is 100% worth it! Cheers to the newlyweds!!

Sooooo, here is a different type of review. This one came from a couple that took time out of their day to hand write a letter. Keep in mind they were guests that attended a wedding. Our facility is Gorgeous, our garden is one of a kind, our food is incredible……. But the staff…. The staff is what I am most proud of. This thank you means we are paying attention and serving ALL that have the pleasure of coming to Venue 1230. As I initially read this I tried to figure out what person at the venue took the time to identify a guest need and fill that need. The truth is it could have been any staff member at Venue 1230. We are so blessed to have such great people here with servants hearts.

This weekend was amazing. We had a Bride that had a vision and man did she pull it off! When I heard pink flamingos, my first thought was. Ummmm ok…. No judgment I just didn’t see the vision. Sure enough we had this space turned into the most elegant Pink flamingo space. That’s right, I said it. Elegant and pink flamingo. I really don’t know how Dixie did it, but she did! I only thought flamingos came in those cheesy plastic versions. I was dead wrong. There were metal statues and all her guests came in beach attire. It was so much fun and It was a pleasure to see a brides vision come to life. Dixie’s mother had the pleasure of walking her down the aisle. We will have to wait and see some pics from the photographer. Our in-house photographer snapped some pics of the outdoor space.

What an honor to have such a beautiful cake baked by Karolyn at the venue. So much thought and effort put into this amazing set up for Danae and Andrew’s big day😍 Anything from a small cutting cake to a big detailed cake, Karolyn can do it!
