Harold stopped dead yesterday afternoon because he wanted to get his wife a bouquet of carnations and baby breath. I think he made a nice selection. Happy birthday or was it an anniversary? Either way I’m sure she enjoyed.

Brian came in yesterday afternoon and picked out a nice bright fall bouquet. Summer is not over but I think we’re all thinking about what’s coming.

We always thought but he had a sibling. Well, looks like the sibling has come home to roost. If you’re missing a chicken, he’s here at country flowers running around the parking lot in the back. He doesn’t like cat food so I don’t know what to feed him.

What a great view and a perfect backdrop for a backyard wedding.

We wanted an outdoor field with a very family oriented feeling so we did small groupings of a pot of herbs, an arrangement in a rustic tin container, taller bottle to give the some height and then add candles.

Lexi wanted an outdoor dinner for the wedding. The weather cooperated and it has turned out to be very nice this afternoon. We did individual vignettes on the table because the dinner was served family style. Everyone seems to enjoy this. It does get people interacting with each other. Lexi really did not wanna attend so her mom thinking ahead. Got the umbrellas for rain or shine. Sure added a great touch.

Lexi is our afternoon bride. Here she is with her maids and little flower girl and her mother. I did her mother‘s wedding flowers somewhere around 30 years ago. I don’t think I’ll still be working when Lexi‘s daughter gets married if she has a daughter. I’ll post a few other pictures of the outside wedding.
