We’ve been thinking about the future of the cabin at Sunrise Trade Co and what’s next. We know we want to continue to share the cabin’s history and be able to allow others to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We also know we love hosting the children’s events. During the winter, we are going to turn the cabin into an event venue. We are excited to hear your thoughts and what you think we should offer within the space to make it perfect for your special event. Let us know your ideas!

Wow! What a great Back 2 School Night at Sunrise Trade Co. We probably had over 30 people show up. I meant to take more pictures, but got caught up in the moment and the magic. The kids got to pick out and decorate their school supplies, roast marshmallows over the fire to make s’mores, feed and pet Frank (the donkey), run around and play, and meet their newest school superintendents.
Thank you to everyone who came! It was a great evening full of fun and laughter as summer break comes to an end!

You can explore the historic mining town yourself or participate in the guided tour. The Miners and Stockman's Steakhouse crew will be serving food there as well! There is always something new to see and learn about in Sunrise. Such a fascinating place with so many historic and prehistoric wonders of Wyoming, so go out and support Sunrise Historic and Prehistoric Preservation Society in keeping the history and prehistory alive!
