I’m not That P*e Dee Bubble Guy.
I’m not That Darlington County Bubble Guy.
I’m That Hartsville Bubble Guy because I love this community and the many community members who encouraged me to pursue my (admittedly odd) passion years ago. Now, I look forward to opportunities to return the love shown to me when I first started this journey.
So a few years ago when asked participants if they’d be interested in having me join them in the Hartsville Christmas Parade, I was delighted when the Brenda Cranford School of Dance invited me on board. I’ve been with them ever since.
Shout out to True Light Photography for grabbing pictures that really captured the joy I feel giving back to Hartsville.

It’s not unusual for one of the guests at a birthday party to come up and tell me I was at their party or that they saw me at their friend’s party or even that I will be at their birthday party in the future.
So I wasn’t surprised when a 3 year old came up to me and said, “You’re gonna be at my birthday party!”
“That’s wonderful!” I replied. “Did your parents tell you that?”
“No. They don’t know yet, but you’re still gonna be there!”

Shout out to my top bubble fan Hendrix! He had a spot on Bubble Guy Halloween costume. Folks couldn’t tell us apart! I was so glad I was able to put him in a bubble!
