The glasshouse is filled and just waiting for everything to fill in. 🌿

I went ahead and added more lavender and 11 additional David Austin roses to the gardens. Every day it looks a little better.

This is my favorite thing about spring. Watching everything wake up, grow, and slowly become what I envisioned months ago.

I can already see where it's headed, and it's going to be fabulous. 🤍

It’s finally starting to really feel like spring again.

Anybody renting needs to watch out for the robins. Mama robin does not like us near her babies! ♥️

I am so looking forward to planting the cottage garden. 🌿

We had six bunny nests in the raised beds that completely delayed planting for a couple of weeks, but they’re finally empty now and safely on their way.

Now I finally get to start filling the garden again. ☀️

Part 2 — Prepping the land

After we built all the garden boxes…
there was still this.

Just raw ground that needed to be leveled, cleared, and prepped.

John went to work… and this is where it really started to feel real.

103 hydrangeas and all the roses, trimmed back and ready to bloom again.
It’s slow, intentional work… but this is how it all comes together.

And then golden hour reminds you it was all worth it.
