Main Street Flowers had several Residents from Dogwood Retreat Inc. visit for our Grand Opening in July and made floral arrangements for one of their outings. "At Dogwood Retreat, there is always something to look forward to. Residents enjoy snowball fights, movie nights, games, crafts, special visitors, and many other activities. Friends and community members often come to sing, visit, and spend meaningful time with the residents, bringing smiles and companionship into their lives.

Adventure is also a big part of life at Dogwood Retreat. Residents enjoy both individual and group outings, including trips to pumpkin patches, Christian music festivals, restaurants, community events, and many other exciting destinations. These experiences provide opportunities to enjoy the community, try new things, and create memories together.

One special adventure was a recent trip to celebrate the grand opening of a flower shop in our lovely city of Hartford, Kentucky. The residents were excited to be part of such a wonderful community occasion. They enjoyed visiting the new shop, celebrating its opening, and taking part in a special experience that brought beauty, creativity, and joy to their day.

For 28 years, Dogwood Retreat has demonstrated that assisted living can truly feel like home. It is a place where residents are valued, included, and given opportunities to enjoy life to the fullest. Through everyday activities, special visitors, community outings, and unforgettable adventures, Dogwood Retreat continues to make a difference in the lives of the people who call it home.

Our female residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to celebrate the grand opening of a local flower shop. They had the opportunity to explore the beautiful flowers and, best of all, create their very own bouquets. Each resident carefully chose her favorite flowers and arranged them into a colorful, personalized bouquet.

It was a lovely day filled with smiles, laughter, creativity, and the joy of being together. The residents truly enjoyed the experience and loved taking home their beautiful floral creations."

We will be closing today at 1:00 PM so that we can attend a funeral and support a family during their time of loss.

We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience. ❤️
