Come see our wonderful face painters and glitter tattoos artists at this year's Butterfly Party!

If looking to add a new furry friend, Catherine's Butterfly Party features several adoption agencies, horse rescues, and more! Also see local vendors selling pet goods, treats and other fun items, and musicians!

It's a wonder day and great time to spend with kids. We will be there 12-4, but note lines may end early if busy, so make sure to get in line early to guarantee face painting or glitter tattoos! We also recommend leaving a donation to the CVH foundation, we always have donation boxes located at each artist station. ♡

We're hiring artists, illustrators, painters, and graphic designers looking for part-time, weekend work as temporary tattoo artists, henna artists, caricature artists, balloon twisters (and starting in 2022 face painters).

We're also accepting people who have childcare backgrounds as PreK teachers, nannies, babysitters, or early education students.

This is the ideal job for students, moms, or someone just looking for side cash on the weekend.

Pay starts at $30/hr with some bonuses, tips, and travel pay

THE DETAILS

--We assign you to work on events in your area
--We train you and give you all the costumes or supplies you need.
--Gigs are typically 1.5-2.5hrs long and you get about one gig a weekend
--You’ll get your schedule 1 week in advanced
--Work is part-time on weekends with flexibility
--Training takes generally about 10hrs, spread over a few weekends before you start working

THE QUALIFICATIONS

--One year of classes or professional experience with art AND/OR childcare
--No portfolio needed (we hire for personality, train for talent)
--MUST have valid driver's license and a car
--MUST be fun, outgoing, professional and love working with children
--MUST be comfortable working by yourself, have good self-management skills, and full weekend availability
--MUST be able to pass a background check against any child abuse charges

COVID & SAFETY

--We make sure clients comply with all local, state, and federal CDC laws
We provide any PPE you want or need
--Artists must be fully vaccinated by the time they begin working on-site with clients
