The designer, Kathryn Paterwic, gives lectures around steampunk fashion and proper Victorian behaviors. She is inspired by Victorian counter culture, the way that the mental state of the world in the Victorian age is reflected in fashion of the time and what happens when society’s corsets strings are pulled too tight. She also goes by the adage more is more (more clothes can be more sexy) and the theory that leaving things up to the imagination is sexy.

While I am getting ready for a competition out of state, I got the question " but you local con....."

Now this is a rule I placed on myself 3 wins Best Masters or higher and I stop competition at that convention at least for a few years and I did that at Conneticon. The next one on the chopping block MIGHT be Granite State in Sept 😉.

Strawberry Shortcake 2.0 is in mini full swing.

I took last week to do some work for freinds and work and begin learning a new skill ( if you want to see let me know).
And next weekend we are going back to that but I was starting to get anxious about this project, so thos week is Strawberry week.
But I have run into a snag and it reminded me of a saying I live by.

IF SOMETHING LOOKS WRONG LOOK AROUND THE PROBLEM AREA FOR A SALUTION

And it has served me well.

A wild thing happened this weekend.
Terrificon (CT) and Boston Fan Expo (MA) where on the same weekend I was at Key City Steampunk with is in (PA), So not unheard of far away but not the same crowd.
With more of the nerds of New England at least at 1 of 2 places, it is definitely time to break out the POST CON CHECK LIST. Today, I will be:
✅️chugging water
✅️starting the laundry
✅️getting the dry cleaning preped
✅️Cleaning the house so I can start fresh on Wednesday
✅️Grocery store, I think I ate 4 complete meals over the last 4 days
That was a crazy one, NEXT up Granite State Comic Con

Hay, the con is over and you will start to feel ways.
