BACK TO WHERE IT ALL BEGAN… 🏠🔊
Ten years ago, New England house music veteran Sobi One launched a monthly house night at 537 Farmington Ave., filling a void in Connecticut’s house music scene.
What started as a small gathering of house heads grew into Connecticut’s longest running house music monthly.
Born at Tisane and later moving down the street to Smoke Public House during the pandemic, the night continued to stand the test of time, and even a global pandemic.
Today, veteran Mike Incillo is at the helm, bringing years of experience and deep roots in the Connecticut dance music scene to the FFHM legacy.
Mike was the driving force behind We Won’t Stop Wednesdays, a weekly event he co-founded, and ran for 3½ years which featured artists like Dan Bell (DBX), Dietrich Schoenemann, TJR, and Onionz. He was also part of the legendary Muck Crew and, more recently, the Juiced Crew, helping bring major names in dance music to the scene, including Bad Boy Bill, Gettoblaster, Christopher Lawrence, DJ Irene, Joey Beltram, and J Paul Getto.
With a history rooted in the culture, Mike continues to push FFHM forward expanding, experimenting, and evolving while staying true to the house music backbone that has kept this night alive for a decade.
With the recent sale of Smoke Public House, an opportunity has come full circle: bringing the final two shows of the year back to the address where it all began.
Different business. Same address. Same house music spirit.
