Another one that I started photographing when she was little bitty. I vividly remember when she wasn't even in School yet her Mom sent me a picture of her with a camera, taking pictures of her baby dolls and stuffed animals lined up saying she was a photographer and her name is Kristyna 😍 I have really adored watching her go from that little laughing "baby", to the beautiful Senior she is now. They have traveled to me many times in her lifetime for me to document their family and I'm thankful for those roads that lead from Louisville back to the town they love ❤ The town that happens to have beautlful homes with big front porches downtown that I have awesome friends that own that let me use on a whim!

Will I ever get over photographing Seniors that I still see as young children? It isn't any different with this one. She was only around 4 years old when I bought my very first studio downtown from her parents, as it was her Dad's Optometrist Office. It is currently serving as the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce Office. One thing that sure hasn't changed is her sweet spirit and her constant smiling. She went through something this year that teens shouldn't have to endure. She lost her sweet friend Brynn, but carried her memory with her to this session, where she had a necklace with her picture in it in a beautlful sunset...only for us to get that same gorgeous sunset at the end of her session. She also found 4 (FOUR!) 4 leaf clovers just strolling through the field during her session. I've never in my life even found 1 lol. She's such a joy and I'm so happy that she felt Brynn's presence with her during this session 💜

I've been so overwhelmed with editing and sessions that I'm way behind on posting here! The weather and light has been so different for every session once we got past those 100 degree days! So many beautiful skies this Fall though, even when they're grey! This gorgeous girl right here was not so long ago a gorgeous toddler in front of my camera. Now she's in her Senior year and making plans. The flowers at Salt River Flora were really showing off this night and I'm in love with so many of her portraits and how her clothing choices fit the scene flawlessly!

Seeing your friends personalities recycled into their nearly grown children is alarming and sometimes also makes you feel sorry for their Mommas 🤣 This one is no different. I'm not sure I'll ever get used to photographing the very people you imagine in your head as still being little kids. Tyler here loathes a photo session. He has every time I've ever taken theirs. But he always shows up, does what is asked and then hits the road as quick as possible 🤣 He knows by now I try to make it painless, but I think he also thinks since it is his Senior year, maybe the photo sessions will stop. Jokes on him 🤣 Love this guy and I love his laugh!

🔥 107. ONE HUNDRED AND SEVEN. 🔥degrees🔥 And I’m guessing 1257% humidity when we did these a couple weeks ago. I don’t know how she survived this. Or how I did. But clearly she still was serving looks that were hotter than the forecast! She’s gorgeous and sweet and has an awesome laugh..and my favorite part is bringing her Griffin bracelet to remember him through their Senior year ❤️

Let's continue this...Senior *Tuesday*. This guy is so go-with-the-flow, he didn't even roll his eyes at me once 🤣 When he was just weeks old, I took his portrait in only a diaper lying on his Dad's Fireman jacket and also lying over a pumpkin. I realllly wanted to recreate that during this session, but he doesn't wear those anymore lol. He is just genuinely a good guy and gets it honest! I thrive on a farm with a pretty sunset and we had both of those during his session and it was all a perfect fit for him!

Senior Monday?! Let's make it a thing. This girl right here..I'm still shaken. I had JUST said that "I've never seen a snake here"..and what do I see slither by? A baby. But it may as well had been an Anaconda. What did she do? STRUTTED RIGHT ITS WAY LIKE IT WAS A FLUFFY KITTEN. It didn't faze her. That tells you all you need to know about her. Fearless!! This was her first of 2 sessions..let's hope the next one is creature-free 🤞

Senior Sunday over here! Actually it is that time of year that it is Senior Sun-Sat-everyday! The first time I took Anne's portraits she was just a little girl..now she's all grown up and will be graduating in May! Her horse made her portrait debut for these also. They are both beauties! And peep Downtown Harrodsburg after the sun has set..my most favorite place and right where Anne has her own family memories from at her family business in the heart of it all.

“Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.” ⚾️

And neither does The Sandlot! Which this team happens to be called! We recreated it with this crew as a surprise for their coaches, and even Wendy Peffercorn made an appearance. And fellas… “She knows EXACTLY what she’s doin’.” 😂

I’ve been lucky enough to watch most all of these boys grow up (and most right alongside my daughter there..Wendy 😉) and everyone of them have been behind my camera multiple times. Add these guys with some other of their friends here in town that play and this team is destined for greatness. They'll be The Sultan of Swat. The Kings of Crash. The Colossus of Clout. The Great Bambinos!

See y’all back here in 7–8 years for the recreation. Same poses. More facial hair. Probably worse decisions.
