After 2 years of sabbatical from weddings to have my own beautiful wedding and build my family, I came back to help execute the most deserving humans, Bryan and Lindsey’s (best second in command, my lead wedding day assistant for 6 years!!) wedding day!!

Talk about “BEST DAY EVER!” We had a rockstar vendor team (listed below), beautiful weather, good food and fun, the most genuine and kind couple, and beautiful unique details included all day long to make it even more special! You could feel the love and support from family and friends all day through.

Note: I still remain not for hire at this time. There are special people and occasions like this one that will bring me back and thank you for everyone’s support over the years! I hope to come back to the industry in the future in some capacity, just not at this time so I can spend time with my sweet son and hubby.

10 years working and supporting the local Harrisonburg community for weddings and events. 5 of those years I worked closely with Santa and J. Ellis Photography to spread Christmas cheer to families and children each holiday season. Happy 5 years John and Santa. Can't wait till next year to see our little families grow again. SANTA'S BACK in the studio again y’all!! For the 4th year in a row, It's Your Day Weddings & Events has teamed up with our BFF J. Ellis Photography at the J. Ellis Photography Studio! I wasn’t going to share till tomorrow however I can’t contain the excitement!

YESTERDAY we kicked off the 2018 Fall Wedding Season with a killer awesome group of vendors and executed the most beautiful day! Even though the rain forced a last minute indoor ceremony, the sky opened up for photos and cocktail hour which is always a bonus! Shelby and Mark were so wonderful and truly a dream to work with and I wish them a lifetime of love and laughter and many more beautiful days together like this one.

Huge thanks to The Granary and Nicole Klingensmith for their awesome partnership, I’ve worked with a lot of venues and their service and togetherness was top notch.
