Rain, Snow, Sleet or Shine - nothing stops JSP Catering from getting you the best food, service and of course, price. Of course, NOTHING matters if the flavor isn’t there though. That’s always first. But when our customers want that “WOW” effect too, we can bring that as well.

Today was an over the top seafood boil for a 40th Birthday Party. Corn on the cob, sausage, redskin potatoes, huge U6/8 wild shrimp, Jumbo snow crab claw clusters and enormous 10oz Maine cold water Lobster tails. Bundle that with crusty bread, vats of clarified butter, fresh lemons and complete with lobster bibs and hand wipes! This is the quintessential seafood boil straight out of New England right in your backyard, show and all, but absolutely delicious food!

Calling all planners for graduation parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, weddings, 1st Communion brunches, backyard BBQ planners and even those just wanting a special birthday celebration or a nice brunch/lunch/dinner/Hors D'oeuvres party for no real reason at all (those are the most fun to plan and serve, IMO), you definitely want to check out Jefferson Street Pub and JSP Catering. We cater any cuisine and fit into any budget. From burgers and hot dogs to BBQ and seafood boils to steak & lobsters. Taco bars, polish feasts and BBQ are our top 3 sellers, especially for Open House type events like most Graduation parties. Middle eastern feasts are also gaining popularity (think all kinds of dips like hummus, baba ganoush, garlic toum, lebneh, etc.) as well as tabbouleh, grape leaves (hot & cold), chicken or beef shawarma, kaftas, mujadara, rice pilaf, fresh pita bread and more.

Need servers and bartenders? We got you covered there too. All licensed, TIPs certified and insured. We can have our catering available for pick up, drop off, full set up in chafing dishes that we provide, served, etc. Whatever you want but never anything that you don't "need".

Best of all - WE DO NOT CHARGE YOU BASED ON YOUR ZIP CODE OR THE SIZE OF YOUR HOUSE like several others do. We don’t have a Grosse Pointe tax (or Birmingham or Bloomfield or Rochester, etc.). You get the idea - we charge everyone the same based on the food they order. THESE exact reasons are why we decided to take everything in-house and offer you everything you need from us. Want us to supply cans of pop, bottles of water, beer, liquor, wine - we got you there too.

And delivery? We deliver to most places in Grosse Pointe, Roseville, St. Clair Shores, Detroit, Mt. Clemens and surrounding areas for $30 or less. Anything within a few miles to our location in Harrison Township is usually delivered for free.

Most options start at $15-18 per person. We are uniquely able to keep our prices lower because we operate out of our restaurant kitchen so our overhead and added costs that many other caterers have are fixed with our team. But regardless of the reason, we give you the freshest products, the most professional service, and the best prices possible. Always.

Another incredibly happy lunch crowd yesterday at the yacht club. 100+ guests for a heavy Hors D’ouevres celebration of life.

Whether we cook at our place or yours (or finish last second plating on site so everything is clean and fresh as possible), let us cater your next event. We can provide everything from appetizers to mains to desserts. We can provide you with alcohol, beer, pop, water, lemonades, ice teas, coffee, etc. We have delivery and drop off services, full set up with chafing dishes and warmers, plates, etc.

Every cuisine and every budget. We do everything from casual and themed kids parties, graduation parties, milestone birthdays, office parties, celebrations of life, funeral luncheons, baby and bridal showers, casual or fancy dinners, weddings and everything in between. With the New Year comes new catering events. We have been extremely humbled by all the requests for food, repeat customers, AND REFERRALS. Every business loves referrals.

We understand that there will be the naysayers too. There always are in any business. We strive to please every customer 100% of the time, but we also know that is unrealistic. Regardless of how much we want to be everyone's favorite, that is impossible and it is okay. That does NOT mean that we will not keep trying though and on the rare occasion that someone is dissatisfied for any reason, we will do whatever it takes to make it right. Always.

And I guess in addition to referrals, it is always nice to get the accolades from your peers as well. We don't call them competitors because we are all in this business to work together and make money. There is plenty of room for everyone and we all do our own things differently to appease the many tastes out there.

You do, however, KNOW that you are truly making an impact when your competitors start attacking you for charging too little or paying your employees too much. Yes, you read that correctly. You really can't make this stuff up. We've been attacked twice in the last month for paying our employees "too much" making it "unfair" to the other businesses. And recently really attacked for quoting far. FAR less than other companies for a dinner party at our customer's home. We do what we do unapologetically.

We are NOT the biggest and NOT the fanciest. We don't proclaim to be. IF you are looking for the classiest of classy events at your house or at an event space, we have lots of referrals for you, starting with the best in the business - Chef Bobby from Encore Catering & Banquet Center - St. Clair Shores, Michigan and Hook SCS. If I wanted a swanky party to impress my friends with all the flair and pizazz, Chef Bobby would be my first call. Especially if I needed event space too.

But if you are simply looking for really good food at really great prices with service to match, we are your go to place. We can make any cuisine meet any budget. From kids' parties to office parties, from seafood boils to wedding receptions. We have done it all and are doing more every day. All of your favorites including Taco Bars, BBQ's, Smoke delights, Middle Eastern Feasts, Polish cuisine, EVERYTHING Italian, Pastas, Salads, Sandwiches and the lists go on and on. We can do steak and lobsters for 200 people or hot dogs and hamburgers for 20.

Have you always wanted to try a private chef dinner at your house but been turned off by the exorbitant prices? Call us. Chef RJ and his team will blow your mind not only with their cuisine, but we our cost-conscious pricing. We charge based on the type of food, time involved and level of intensity. We do NOT charge based on what we "think" you should be able to afford by the size of your house or the city you live in.

This time of year, folks also start planning for those Graduation parties and summer BBQs. Maybe a milestone birthday celebration or a party for no reason at all (those are the best). Whatever the occasion, include JSP Catering in those conversations and you'll be happy you did. Again, we may not be the ones you choose in the end, but you'll be very happy you got to know us. That I guarantee.

We also now have seafood boils done onsite at your location starting at just $36 per person as well as a mobile pizza oven allowing us to cook pizzas to order at your party for your guests as well.

And if you need service at those parties - we got you covered there too!! Certified, licensed and insured servers, bartenders and staff are available to handle your every need - all without the upcharge and extra "tax" because of your zip code. All of our staff assigned to you are ServSafe & TIPS certified, taking every precaution to protect you and your guests.

Need a keg or a case or a few bottles of bubbly at your party? We provide those as well. We are your one stop shop if you want us to be.
