A lot of jobs come with hours that have to happen in person. Continuing education, certifications, annual training, onboarding a new group — the kind of thing that can't be a webinar.

What those days actually need is simple: enough room, tables and chairs already set, a kitchen so lunch isn't a field trip, and parking nobody has to think about.

Yesterday a group came in looking for somewhere to run a few days of training. They'd checked a hotel down the road first — the room they had available was too small for the group.

That happens more than you'd think. Meeting space tends to come in 'small' or 'ballroom,' with not much in between.
