We just had our wedding there the weekend of November 2nd and I can't say enough amazing things about this hotel. From the beginning of the wedding planning process with Brenda through the entire weekend, everything was seamless. The staff went over and beyond to accommodate our guests from out of town as well as those just there for the day. Everyone commented on what a great wedding it was and the food was amazing!! After the wedding, Mary in the bar took great care of us! Can't recommend this property enough.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff, delicious meals, and overall quality of the hotel. Mary (bartender) was fabulous, everyone enjoyed talking with her throughout the stay. Heather (front desk) was amazing, her patience was appreciated as we know we had some difficult patrons. These two staff members were spoken about so highly by everyone who attended. Sasha (morning wait staff) was so kind she sat with my mother who was alone until we arrived for breakfast. Brett (dinner staff) was hilarious, we appreciated his patience as we were slow at exiting the rehearsal dinner. My husband and I enjoyed walking the dogs around the well maintained property. The rooms were neat, clean and spacious. Apologies about what the dogs did to the door, speaking with Dawn was so easy and she was apologetic for billing us (we are still laughing about her apologizing). Parking was more than ample. The hotel had so many accommodations that the entire wedding party was more than entertained. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!! We gave it a 5 star on google map.

Very Happy Couple

My husband and I got married July 28th 2018 and had our reception at the Red Lion Hotel. We had a few options for a reception venue, but from the price to the accommodations, we were both very happy with our choice.

From day one, Brenda made sure that we had all the information we needed to not only plan our wedding reception but also to make it one that we would remember forever. She went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were happy with every decision being made.

The day of the wedding was perfect. My husband and I did not need to worry about a thing. The Red Lion Hotel staff was extremely professional and took care of everything. We would recommend The Red Lion Hotel to anyone getting married in the Hershey/Harrisburg area.

"Great Hotel" Overall Score 5.0/5
Everyone was very accommodating and always had a smile and helped out when we needed it! Loved staying here! clean rooms, a little on the older side but they are trying to renovate! This was the only hotel we could find around that had the bar that stayed open past 1030 on the weekend which was important to us since all the wedding venues had to be over by 10pm which ends the night early when all the family and friends come in from all over the country to celebrate and hang out. I would recommend this hotel! I worked with Brenda and she was awesome, always responded quickly and was easy to talk to!
