A POV of me delivering an unplugged announcement before a ceremony, which can set the day off right in so many ways!
This is my first opportunity to interact with guests, getting to meet them this early is a huge connection and confidence builder.

Removing one thing from your officiant’s to-do list is a great idea, especially if it’s a family member or friend.

Since a cell phone technically CAN interfere with the mics, I love to do a live sound and connection test with as many guests there as possible. A speed bump in a test means success when it matters 👌🏼

It was really windy out which provided challenges but it was a once in a lifetime ceremony, literally, that has never been done on the course, and probably will never be done again 💪🏼

Congrats to the Mazur’s, we rocked so hard 🫡🤘🏼

We’re back in the wedding swing, and we crushed our first two weddings as a MARRIED couple 🥰

Also very happy to be back to normal life. Our wedding was amazing but I’m ready to put all my energy into my couple’s weddings 😎

The end of your wedding is just as important as any other moment. With this couple specifically, we discussed playing 3 songs to maximize the bodies on the dance floor, but also leave them with a feeling of “that was Mike and Suzie’s wedding!”
This was the 3rd to last song of the night, and people were so electrified by the end, we had to throw ice on em 🤣
Make it yours, end it right. 🫡

A wildly memorable year.
My sister got married! I gained a brother in , got to walk my mom down the aisle, and see my dad cry for maybe the third time@in my life? Scroll for that one, love you jimflix 🤣

I did my first (second?) wedding! I had to carry my controller from ceremony to cocktail then to reception, had one mic with NO ANTENNA and hired my bartender buddy to assist me, hope you’re doing well Alex! Prolly still don’t have your voice back tho 😅
I travelled to Costa Rica with my buddies , and .burke.9843, and slept in a hammock every night, except that two hour nap that felt like heaven. We almost got robbed in Montezuma because I had to carry my canon t2i everywhere I went 🙄
I also pooped on the beach.
Then a day after getting home I went to Canada to watch the habs play the flyers with and Snyder, who I can’t find on here but his wedding was actually the first one I did!! Holy hell it was hot 🤣
Unfortunately we lost a legend in Dorthy Garrity, my granny. Look how damn cool she was. I’d be a fool to leave her out, she was so good at keeping it simple, she loved to talk to everyone, and never drove a day in her life. Miss you so much Granny 🫶🏼
There’s a bunch more to scroll through, memories with family, friends, working to get better at DJing, SELLING CARS for TWO dealerships, helping a buddy learn to sell cars… I was all over the map. Young a wild and free.
I love looking back and remembering the days of living with two buddies in a half house, and doing whatever I wanted.
10 years pass and you realize how different EVERYTHING is. My mind, my body, my HEART.
I have now been DJing for 10 years, and still have the love for it. I love the journey it’s taken me on, the people I’ve met, but I forget that I’m more than a DJ. It’s not my only identity. Now I’m an uncle, a little more of a son and a brother than I was at that time, a cat daddy ayyy, unfortunately less of a friend which I have already started working on, and will soon be a husband.

Whether it’s the right people finding me or it’s the music circle of life, this is MY kind of rock and I love how many guests are loving it!

Wedding intros are so important…
They set the tone for EVERYTHING, and are one of my favorite parts of a wedding.
Our last wedding of 2025 was HUGE energy. Eric and Linda were looking to have a night full of dancing and special moments with their family and friends, but we had to get them in the door first!
We can plan a script, but adapting to the energy in the room (like prompting the guests to wave their napkins) matching their general tone (my relaxed mic work) and encouraging the energy EXPLODE right as it is about to boil over… that’s what I do to make sure we kick a party off just right!
