The District 3 HS boys are making some serious noise at the 2026 PIAA State Championships! 🔥
• 8 District 3 wrestlers in the State Finals (AA & AAA)
• All-District 3 showdown at 139 lbs in AA
Bishop McDevitt (AA), Cedar Cliff (AAA), and Trinity (AA) are leading the charge with two finalists each!
🏆Meet the 2026 PIAA Individual State Finalists from District 3
🤼♂️107 lbs (AA): Arav Pandey – Trinity High School
Pandey is a freshman coached by Kyle Shoop. He holds a 39–3 record this season and placed 3rd at this year’s Powerade Tournament. The state final will be a rematch from Powerade, where Pandey dropped a tough 1–0 decision in the quarterfinals.
🤼♂️114 lbs (AA): Braiden Lotier – Bishop McDevitt High School
Lotier is a junior and the defending state champion at 107 lbs, coached by Mike Nauman. He carries a career record of 123–19 and is 47–1 this season. The state final will be a rematch of this year’s Powerade finals, where Lotier fell in a 1–0 decision. Lotier is committed to Division I Bucknell University.
🤼♂️133 lbs (AA): William Detar – Trinity High School
Detar is a senior coached by Kyle Shoop with an outstanding career record of 167–10. He has previously finished 3rd, 2nd, and 3rd at the AA State Championships and is looking to capture his first state title. Detar is committed to Division I Northwestern University.
🤼♂️139 lbs (AA): Camden Baum – Bishop McDevitt High School
Baum is a senior coached by Mike Nauman and a three-time state finalist, including this season. He holds a career record of 131–10 and is committed to Division I Purdue University.
🤼♂️139 lbs (AA): Gavin Green – Delone Catholic High School
Green is a junior coached by Chad Giraffa with a career record of 123–18. His previous state finishes include a DNP and a 5th-place finish at the AA State Championships. Green will look to avenge a 4–2 loss to Camden Baum from earlier this season when the two meet in an all–District 3 state final.
🤼♂️127 lbs (AAA): Kavin Muyleart – Cedar Cliff High School
Muyleart is a junior coached by Rick Tamanosky. He holds a career record of 80-13 and is 37-4 on the season. He was last years AAA state runner up at 121 lbs and took 4th and 2nd at this years Beast of the East and Powerade tournaments, respectively.
🤼♂️139 lbs (AAA): Aiden Herndon – Cedar Cliff High School
Herndon is a junior coached by Rick Tamanosky. He holds a career record of 118-17 and is 40–5 this season. He has previously placed 2nd and 4th at the AAA State Championships and finished 6th at the Beast of the East and 7th at the Powerade Tournament this season. Herndon is committed to Division I Army West Point.
🤼♂️172 lbs (AAA): McKaden Speece – Wilson (West Lawn)
Speece is a senior coached by Jason Gibble. He holds a career record of 197–17 and is 54–1 this season. At the AAA State Championships, he has previously finished DNP, 5th, and 4th. He is committed to Division I Navy.
