Ember & Earth

This event was hosted at Hillbrook Inn's new beautiful venue Fieldstone at Cool Springs Farm. This even connects farmers, chefs, artisans, and food lovers.

I have had the pleasure to attend a few of these events and the food and energy leaves us asking when the next one will be.

Fortunately, this weekend a Salute to Women is returning to take a moment for the women who usually work in isolation to recognize each other as peers and collaborators in Waterford, VA. These women shape the future of farming, food, and hospitality. Holly Chapple, a well know local floral designer, will be giving a seasonal floral design demonstration at this event and tickets are still available.

If you only have weekend availability, my suggestion would be get your deposit in and we can find a date.

I shoot 7 days a week.

If you have neighbors, friends, and family that all would like to book a full day in any season , I do travel✈️

This Fall /Winter my camera is headed to Western NY, Los Angeles, Orlando, SOMD ( date TBD), University of Noth Carolina and Duke. If you know anyone that would be interested in those areas I would love to connect:)

I thought my page could use some wedding love and after posting the first pic I took of McKenna , I thought I would share the last time she was in front of my camera.

Logan and McKenna married at the end of June and filled the Barns of Maple Valley Farm with endless florals and food from the Hillbrook Inn catering team and of course the guests left with Mountaineer Popcorn!
The rain stayed away and the horses on the property joined in on their vows. Magical warm day and along side of talented vendors and family friends they had the most unforgettable day!

I met this little lady over 10 years ago at her family session; she was the oldest of four. She always had this quiet confidence about her. Fast forward: she graduated, started a business, holds national records for weightlifting, and found her life partner.

Today is her wedding day, and I am honored to capture it♥️.
