Ahhh, September! 🍂 Though it’s not officially fall, there’s something about the month of September that makes it feel like we’re in the fall season. Fun fact about me. I LOVE this time of year, especially fall weddings.

As I sit here and work vigilantly on my fall events, I can’t help but admire these beautiful pictures. Samira and Jose Pablo’s fall wedding was one I’ll never forget and gets me excited and motivated for the events to come this season.

I’m researching bridal bouquets and came across some fun facts. I thought they were interesting so I have to share them.

💐 Language of Flowers: In the Victorian era, bouquets were used to convey messages through the language of flowers, known as floriography. Each flower carried a specific meaning, allowing brides to send secret messages to their beloved.
💐 Tossing Tradition: The tradition of tossing the bridal bouquet originated in England in the 14th century. It was believed that possessing a piece of the bride’s bouquet would bring good luck, leading to eager guests trying to grab a piece of it.
💐 Symbolism: Different flowers carry symbolic meanings, often chosen to reflect the bride’s personality, emotions, or wishes for her marriage.
