Fall greetings to Lily’s followers!
Facebook reminded me today that it’s been almost a month since my last post! So, look for several catch-up postings today to share how we’ve been spending October on the flower farm. But here, I’d like to take a moment to share our general status as a flower farm and as a family.
Susan & Chris McKeone (aka Lily & Reymundo) started Lily’s Flower Stand with the 2014 season. 2025 will be our last.
Susan’s main gig was Principal of a successful consulting practice in corporate leadership development. After 27 years, Susan retired in June. In the last year, our 2 grown kids have flown and we have purchased a lake house in the Poconos.
In 2026, it’s time to retire to our lake house fully. Come Spring, our beautiful 1921 historic farm house with three acres will go on the market.
Our experience as Flower Farmers has been hard work with all the ups and downs that every kind of farmer experiences. But we loved every minute of it. And we’ve especially loved the opportunity to build a community that supports locally grown, and to get to know you all. Thank you for your longstanding support of our family enterprise.
Over the next 8 months, we hope to have an opportunity to see each of you and say goodbye. And if you know someone looking for a big beautiful house with its own little paradise out back, please send them our way!
✌️❤️🌺🌞
