Hey folks. Just got the word we will be cooking at Eastlake Church on Aug 31st for their Labor Day Celebration. We will be cooking smoked pulled pork, pulled chicken with coleslaw for a side, for around 800 people.

Smoked pizza for dinner. Not bad, not bad at all. Now I’ll have to come up with a pulled pork bbq pizza and a beef brisket pizza to serve off of the food traler.

Hey folks we will be at Parkway Marine Friday for the Saunders Volunteer Fire Department 4th Of July Celebration from 4 until ??
Then on Saturday we will be at Mama Ann’s ( formerly The General Store) from 10-5.

Hey everyone...Just an update.... I'm all healed up and been working my day job for wa while.....I've took the back burner with Chubby Nubbins since January and haven't done any work, but it's about to change.
I will keep you posted where we will be out so you can come out and join us.

They work hard and put out awesome food.

Good morning everyone...
Welp, its been six weeks yesterday and my vacation comes to the end.... So many things needed to be done around the house and didn't get done because my live-in nurse wouldn't allow me...Lol
Last trip to Duke University for a check up today. All is good and I hope I'll be back to work on Monday, which I feel sure I will be.
Just in time for BBQ season to take off and my calendar is filling up. We have some special events that we will be doing that we have done every year and hopefully and new event or two.. And we already have three weddings scheduled.
Not planning on over doing it like I have done in the past, I will be turning 66 this year, WHOOP WHOOP, and I do have a real job that demands my time...... Just to wanted to check in.
Everyone have a fabtabulous Friday an a better weekend.

Good morning y'all... Just wanted to update you. I'm on my second week with my new hip and I'm starting to walk without the use of the walker....The only pain I'm experiencing is from the incision. Still limited on a few things , but I'm getting there. My nurse is still taking care of me and making me behave myself.
I'll be back to BBQing before long.
Everyone take care and keep on smiling, It looks good on yea.

Welp, time is getting closer, and I can't wait. I'm ready for this to be over with. Surgery is in just a couple weeks, then I can be on the long road to recovery instead of setting around waiting and not even able to do much....and not having to be a burden on Sharon and everyone around me, but I'm also very thankful for having these folks by my side.
Thank you to everyone for your thought's, concern's and your prayers.

Well it looks like Chubby Nubbins BBQ is done for this year due to a health issue. Its gotten hard for me to get around in the last couple of weeks due to a lot pain in my left hip and knee. After seeing my doctor yesterday, it looks like I have to have my hip replaced. I have had my right hip replaced 24 years ago.
So thank you to everyone that supported us this year its been awesome.

I want to thank EastLake Church for allowing Chubby Nubbins BBQ to cook BBQ for their special event Saturday..
What a great day it was. We were asked to smoke enough BBQ for 800-1000 sandwiches. The food was at no cost to anyone that came to the event....
Sorry I'm not good at taken pictures. There were games, music and lots, and lots and lots of candy for the kid'os.....and great BBQ.....
We seen a lot of great costumes, adults and children....
Thank you to Sharon and Scotty for all of the help preparing the BBQ.
