When Carlo Ferrara was Mayor of the City of Harahan he built our Senior Center in 1985. Sadly, he passed away this year. Shortly after his passing,Councilman Paul Johnston proposed an ordinance to rename the Center after him. It was unanimously approved by the council. Today, on Carlo Ferraras 96th birthday, the center was officially dedicated and renamed THE CARLO FERRARA SENIOR CENTER in honor of the Mayor who founded our beautiful Center. May he always be remembered 🙏
