Bio:
Producing a Kind Generation is a 3 piece art rock trio, hailing from Louisville, Kentucky. The band is driven by the emotive poetry of frontman Dre Smith and the dynamic rhythms executed by drummer Kym Williams in collaboration with bassist Aaron “Ace” Holmes.

Producing a Kind Generation uses melody and rhythm as a backdrop to discuss the human experience and share moments of vulnerability with their listeners. Their approach to art is more so rooted in the virtuosity of being human than it is in musical virtuosity.

The band’s style is most commonly compared to that of 90’s alternative but even that comparison lacks the proper nuance to effectively describe their methods of expression; nonetheless, it’s a good place to start.

We will be closed starting Monday 12/29/25 and will re-open on Friday 1/2/26. Thanks for a great 2025! Thanks to all the DJs that spun and all the musicians who played our space. Thanks to all the wonderful people who graced us with their presence to enjoy said entertainers. We feel blessed to be able to share this space with all of yall!
