This is for the plant lovers… I HAVE to show you.

While working yesterday on my mail route I just so happen to look up at this leafless bush and to my surprise there’s blooming LILACS.

YES YOU SAW THAT RIGHT

I’m in actual disbelief of this phenomenon. I naturally did a little research and it sounds like the summer weather tricked them into blooming again. Most likely due to the cool spell we had followed by a few weeks of warm days.

For reference I am in zone 6b Rochester NY October 15th 2026

Sympathy flowers are never easy to make, but it’s always an honor to be able to create something beautiful for a family during a difficult time. Sometimes flowers can say a little of what words just can’t. 🤍

🌸 BOUQUET RAFFLE FOR HEARTS IN BLOOM 🌸

One of my favorite things about flowers is that they have a way of bringing a little bit of light into some of life’s hardest moments. 🤍

Earlier this year, we held a bouquet raffle to support Hearts in Bloom Buffalo, an incredible organization that brings flowers, gifts, comfort and a reminder that they are seen and remembered to widows and widowers on Valentine’s Day and grieving mothers on Mother’s Day.

Because of YOU, we were able to raise $260 for their mission. 🥹🌷

And this year, I’m hoping we can DOUBLE IT! ❤️

So, we’re doing it again!

💐 HOW THE RAFFLE WORKS:
• This raffle is for Rochester-area residents only
• Bidding starts NOW
• Each bouquet starts at just $25
• Comment your bid under each individual photo⬇️
• The raffle will officially end Saturday 10/10 at NOON
• Winning bouquets will be available for pickup Saturday evening or Sunday at our flower farm in Hamlin, NY 🌿

Every dollar raised will be donated to Hearts in Bloom to help them continue their beautiful mission of making sure people experiencing unimaginable loss know that they are not forgotten. ❤️

A little moody, a little wild, and SO beautiful. This bouquet was filled with deep, dark dahlias, muted red zinnias, chocolate Queen Anne’s lace, celosia, amaranth, and seeded eucalyptus, all coming together for the most romantic garden-inspired look.

And can we talk about her stunning black dress?! 🖤 It was seriously the perfect match for these darker, moodier blooms and made the whole look feel so unique.

We also made a boutonnière to match, pulling in the same deep tones and textures from her bouquet.

I absolutely loved getting to create these for K & J. 🖤🌺

Our bride envisioned a romantic half-circle floral installation for the ceremony, and we brought her vision to life. We paired the statement ceremony piece with two lush aisle arrangements and delicate petals lining the aisle, creating an elevated, timeless look from the moment guests arrived.

Every detail was designed to feel intentional, romantic, and effortlessly beautiful. 🫶🏻🤍
