Our Story

Welcome to The Benninghofen House!

Located in the historic Dayton Lane neighborhood in Hamilton, Ohio, the house was built by Christian and Anna Benninghofen in 1892. It features intricate woodwork, beautiful fireplaces featuring Hamilton tile, amazing stained glass windows, Lincrusta wall coverings, a grand porch, and lush backyard.

The Benninghofen House has seen a variety of owners over the years, and was purchased by Michael and Bekki Rennick in 2015. We feel so lucky to live here! Our family resides in the first 2 floors of the home. The upper floors feature 3 rental apartments, 1 that is occupied by long-term tenants, and 2 that are available to rent for short-term vacation/work trips. Stay in The Tower Apartment or The Garden View Apartment the next time you visit Hamilton!
