““Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. ”
Exodus 20:8

Well it's Thursday! Can't believe the week is almost over! I think as Americans especially it's really easy to not stop and truly rest. I'm the worst at it 🥴 I go 💯 until my heart , soul and body say 'hey lady we need a rest and reset.' Since Feb we have been going going going. So this week away was required - slow down, deep breathes and a clam that only comes when I surround myself with creation.

Over the years I've lived in some of the most incredible places- PNW, Colorado, Nepal, Nigeria and now I'm back in Texas. I guess the forest truly does call to me, I can only go so long before I need to go sit with her and have'er tell me stories.

John Muir once said while living in Yosemite, "Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where Nature may heal and cheer and give strength to body and soul alike." - John Muir, 1912.

We hope and pray that you too have found rest in the simple things this week!

Love you all looking forward to $20 Tuesdays next week!!!

Cheers!
