Some behind the scenes!
A grazing table scape doesn’t start and end the moment it’s delivered and set up.
It starts the moment the idea is put into existence. The lists from every different store - because yes I shop around for the best pricing so I can give you the most for your $. (If you don’t think I have a spreadsheet of every location with price per ounce of meats and cheeses- you would be mistaken!). Sometimes that includes 5-6 different places.
It’s weeks or more of creating hand made themed items, it’s sketching my idea on paper with the layout of every tray, tier and board; it’s soaking and washing produce, cutting everything, and playing Tetris with the fridge! It’s re-cleaning all of the trays, boards and tiers.
It’s a full day of creating on boards and sometimes in person. It’s coolers and bags of product to be delivered. And then, my favorite part is building the creation I imagined to show the final product.
The better part- is seeing people’s reactions! I was definitely in love with this set up and cannot wait to do it again!
