Yippee! We made it through what felt like the longest winter ever! We're all feeling more energized around here with the extra sunlight and I never thought our family would be this excited to see grass again (especially the goats). We've been busy seeding and planning so many flowers for the upcoming season. We've also been putting in long days and very early mornings baking some really beautiful (and delicious) bread. We're beyond grateful that you can now grab a loaf at the most adorable shop on Broadway, Saratoga Olive Oil! Our bread dipped in their olive oil? Seriously so, so, so good.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween! A little 75 mph freezing cold wind/rain wasn't going to stop my kids from getting candy. I'm pretty sure my face is permanently windburned but our first indoor markets of the season start today! ✨
We're beyond excited to now have our bread and flowers at both Saturday and Sunday
markets 🙌
Our sourdough loaves are getting a little too pretty to eat. We'll also have some crazy-beautiful heirloom mums and dried flower bunches.
If you or someone you know is affected by SNAP/EBT, our loaves will also be at the Free Fridge at Pitney Meadows this afternoon. 🧡

Frost has arrived, but the heirloom mums are still doing their thing! A tower of bulb crates has been stacking up in the garage. We’re busy cleaning up the flower beds and attempting to get a new high tunnel installed before winter 😅. The biggest hugs and thank yous to everyone who has been scooping up our bread and flowers every week this season. We are beyond grateful 🥹. The markets will be moving inside starting in November but we will still be bringing our bread, dried flowers, tulips and lots of other goodies!

Frost warning = frantically harvest as many stems as you can and label all the dahlias you should’ve labeled weeks ago 😝. Grateful for the stretch of warm weather we’ve had and the whirlwind of a very busy season. We just returned from our final camping trip of the year, where a little raccoon family decided to hang out with us. Not sure if I’m cut out for camping life, but now we’re home safe and ready to welcome the pumpkins, costumes, and cider! 🎃🍁

Phew! What a weekend! (Hence why I am writing this and it is Thursday)🌸 The biggest thank you to and for helping us successfully get through three markets, a gorgeous wedding, deliveries, and whole lot of bread making. We even managed to sneak in a quick camping trip to the Adirondacks to decompress. Tallulah and I swam across an entire lake 💪, got some kayaking/fishing in, and we became pros at putting up (and taking down) our pop-up camper after I set us all up at the completely wrong campsite….twice🤦‍♀️.

If you stopped by our market stand this month, you might’ve caught a little sneak peek of something new and exciting we’ve been working on. In addition to our flowers, we’re now offering fresh-baked sourdough or as our little family likes to call it: Flowerdough 🌸🍞

If you’ve ever talked to Travis, chances are he’s managed to slip sourdough into the conversation somehow (maybe that’s why we don’t get invited to many social gatherings 😂). He birthed our starter, Clementine, over three years ago, and while life got ridiculously busy, the sourdough obsession is back! Of course, we can’t just have plain ol sourdough. We have to pretty it up with our pressed blooms.

Come grab a loaf at:
–
– Our roadside stand
–
Can’t wait to share our Flowerdough with you! (If you want sourdough without the flowers on top, we have that too!)

Happy Tuesday! The flowers and weeds are out of control and we have been going nonstop to try and keep up. We bought a rinky-dink pop up camper (which was the best impulse buy ever) to drag to the beach with us. It was a blast and we somehow made it back home without a popped tire and all 400 lbs of Tallulah and Milo’s precious beach shells and rocks. We came home to the very first dahlia bloom of 2025 🥹 and we are rolling in a ton of neon bright orange zinnias (which we thought were going to be light pink 🤦‍♀️) .

Late June into early July can be a tricky time in the flower farming world. Spring blooms are getting the heck out of this heat, and summer flowers are just on the brink of exploding. It might not look like it, but many of the flowers in last week’s bouquets are flowers that we wouldn’t really bat an eye at any other time throughout the season. It does make us appreciate all that is growing which we quickly forget about once our dahlias and zinnias are here 🤣
Our peony stash is nearly gone so if you’ve been waiting, this weekend is your last chance to grab some! I’ve saved a few of my absolute favorites for a very special bridal bouquet 🥹
