Tomorrow is going to be such a beautiful day at the stunning Wedding + Event Venue & Hotel , filled with so much love, laughter, unforgettable moments, and the lively sounds of mariachis! 🎺🎶❤️

From the sweet moments shared tonight to the “I do’s” tomorrow, we can’t wait to watch these two begin their forever surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.

Seating Chart vs. No Seating Chart

One of the questions I get from couples all the time:
“Do we REALLY need a seating chart?” 🤔

And honestly… there’s no one-size-fits-all answer! It depends on your guest count, venue, meal style, and the overall feel you want for your reception.

🪑 REASONS TO CREATE A SEATING CHART

✔️ You want to make sure immediate family and VIP guests have the best seats
✔️ You’re having a plated or served meal
✔️ You have a larger guest count and want to avoid the “Where are we going to sit?” shuffle
✔️ You want to intentionally separate guests who may not get along 😉
✔️ You have guests with dietary restrictions or special seating needs
✔️ You want your reception space to feel organized and intentional
✔️ You want to reserve specific tables for family, wedding party, or special guests

🥂 REASONS TO SKIP THE SEATING CHART

✔️ You’re having a more relaxed, casual reception
✔️ You have a smaller guest count
✔️ You’re serving a buffet or stations and don’t need assigned seats
✔️ Your venue has plenty of seating for everyone
✔️ You want guests to mingle and choose where they’re comfortable
✔️ You don’t want to spend hours tracking down last-minute RSVPs and rearranging a seating chart 😅
✔️ Your wedding vibe is more “grab a seat and have fun!”

✨ MY PLANNER TIP:
You can also choose a happy medium! Instead of assigning every individual seat, assign guests to tables and let them choose their own seat once they get there.

At the end of the day, your seating plan should make your reception easier—not more stressful. ❤️
