While we have filled our Soprano and Alto positions, we are still in need of a Bass and Tenor. These positions are a wonderful opportunity for someone with the needed skills and a great way to make some extra money for just a couple of hours of singing per week! IMMEDIATE JOB OPENINGS AVAILABLE: PAID TENOR AND BASS POSITIONS
Grace United Methodist Church in Hagerstown, MD has immediate openings for paid positions in the choir. The music sung at Grace UMC is from the wide body of traditional sacred music drawing strongly on that of the English choral tradition. Openings are currently available for TENOR and BASS. Candidates for these positions should have strong music sight-reading skills, an ability to blend well with other voices, a willingness to work as a team with other choir members, and dependable attendance and timeliness of arriving for scheduled calls. Candidates would need to be available for a weekly rehearsal on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm and one service on Sunday mornings at 9 am. These positions run from September through the beginning of June. There are possibilities for solo work during the Summer months. Pay is $50 per call, normally two calls per week (1 rehearsal, 1 service), during the seasons of Christmas and Lent there are additional calls.
