"Pretty people in pretty places." 💜

This pretty place is near and dear to my heart!

See that canal bank? My in-laws' property is the other side of that canal...

I spent many evenings in 2007 walking that canal bank with my friend ➡️ boyfriend ➡️ fiance, who became my husband in 2008.

(That makes me sound so old!)

Come to find out, my husband and I don’t have the only claim to falling in love alongside this curve in the canal...

In a full circle moment, we built a house across the street from my in-laws in 2017.

And now I can see this exact spot where Sam proposed to his (soon-to-be) bride from my front door. 💜

I love that my work has brought me closer to my neighbors and I get to hear their walking-the-canal-bank falling-in-love love stories!

..This little oasis in the desert can be found at The Lodge at Deep Creek, not far from where I live south of Twin Falls. If you look *really* closely you can see the hawk in the distance!
