Even though the day started off rainy and gloomy, the skies cleared and so did any doubt about the generosity of this community. While participation numbers were lower than we had hoped because of the weather, the support and kindness shown today were anything but small. Nearly everyone donated well above the entry fee, proving once again how much this community shows up when someone is in need. ❤️

Because of your generosity, we were able to raise $2,345 for Emmalee Wilkins as she courageously battles Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Some people even entered vehicles that weren’t physically there just to donate extra money, which speaks volumes about the hearts of the people around us.

One of the most touching moments of the day came from our Split the Pot winner, Mark Hunter, who generously donated his winnings right back to Emmalee. Acts like that remind us what community is truly about.
